Happy New Year!

Just a quick post to say that I won't be updating again until I get beck to Sheffield towards the middle of January. And I should have some work to post for critical comment - hooray!

Oh, I have a new-found respect for people who have marked my essays in the past. I have about 30 first-year undergraduate essays to mark, and it's taking longer than I thought it would! I'm getting a little quicker though, and it's the first time I've ever done marking (excuses, excuses!).
